How To Clean Roasting Dishes With Baked On Grime

See this content in the original post

Hi everyone, Tim here from Chasing Pristine with another tip while home cleaning

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C

2. Fill the roasting dish with a layer of baking soda.

3. Pour enough hot water over the baking soda to cover all the grime.

4. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes.

5. Scrub the roasting dish with a sponge to remove the grime.

6. Rinse the roasting dish with warm water.

7. If the grime is still present, repeat steps 2-7 until the roasting dish is clean.

8. When the roasting dish is completely clean, season it with vegetable oil or cooking spray before using it again to prevent food from sticking in the future.

9. Place the roasting dish back into the preheated oven for 10 minutes to help set the seasoning.

10. Remove the roasting dish from the oven and let it cool completely before using it again.

11. You may consider, to help keep your roasting dish clean in the future, lining it with aluminium foil before use. This will make cleaning up any baked-on grime much easier.

12. After use, make sure to remove the aluminium foil and wash the roasting dish with hot water and dish soap.

13. Rinse the roasting dish with warm water and dry it thoroughly before storing it away.

We hope this has helped
