How To Clean Skirting Boards

See this content in the original post

Hi everyone, Tim here from Chasing Pristine with another tip while home cleaning

1. Vacuum the skirting boards with a soft brush attachment. This will help remove any dust and dirt accumulated on the boards.

2. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the skirting boards to remove any stubborn dirt or stains. Make sure to use a gentle cleaning solution such as dish soap or white vinegar.

3. For tougher stains, mix a few drops of dish soap with baking soda and apply it to the stain. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before scrubbing with a soft cloth or brush.

4. Once the skirting boards are cleaned, use a dry cloth to buff out any streaks or residue left by the soap solution or baking soda.

5. To prevent future dirt and dust accumulation, consider using furniture polish or wax on your skirting boards. This will help protect them from future wear and tear and make them easier to clean.

6. In order to keep the skirting boards looking their best, it is important to dust them regularly using a soft cloth or microfibre duster. You may also choose to use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to remove any dust and dirt from the boards.

We hope this has helped
