How To Clean The Exterior Of A Rubbish Bin

See this content in the original post

Hi everyone, Tim here from Chasing Pristine with another tip while home cleaning

1. Empty the bin and take it outside. Shake it to remove any debris that may have accumulated in the bin.

2. Make a mixture of warm water and dish soap and submerge a cloth in it. Wring out the excess water and wipe down the outside of the bin.

3. For tougher stains, use baking soda and water to make a paste. Apply the paste to the outside of the bin and let it sit for 10 minutes before wiping it away with a damp cloth.

4. Rinse off the soap with clean water and let the bin air dry.

5. Once the bin is dry, line it with a fresh trash bag.

6. Place the bin indoors in its designated spot and you’re done!

7. Repeat this process every week to ensure that your bin stays clean and free of odours.

8. To keep your bin smelling fresh in between cleanings, sprinkle baking soda into the bottom of your bin or spray it with a sanitising cleaning spray.

9. If you’ve noticed any mould or mildew growing, use a mixture of white vinegar and water to kill it. Spray the vinegar and water mixture onto the affected areas and let it sit for 10 minutes before rinsing off with clean water.

We hope this has helped
