How To Clean Your Mouse

See this content in the original post

Hi everyone, Tim here from Chasing Pristine with another tip while home cleaning

1. Disconnect your mouse from your computer and turn it upside down.

2. Use a can of compressed air to blow out any lint or debris from the vents on the bottom of the mouse. Make sure you hold the can upright and do not shake it while spraying.

3. Dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and rub it along the buttons, sides, and top of the mouse. Pay special attention to the rubberised grips on the sides. Wipe up any excess liquid with a cloth or paper towel.

4. Let your mouse dry for 10-20 minutes before reconnecting to your computer.

5. Reconnect the mouse to your computer and test it out. Ensure that the buttons are responsive and the cursor is tracking properly. If everything is working as expected, you're all done!

6. For more detailed cleaning, you can use an old toothbrush and some rubbing alcohol to clean around the parts of the mouse that are more difficult to reach. Make sure you brush in one direction and avoid scrubbing too hard in order to avoid damaging the delicate components of the mouse.

7. Finally, if your mouse is wireless, make sure you clean the contacts on the bottom of the mouse and the receiver to prevent connection issues. To do this, simply use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol and wipe them down.

We hope this has helped
