How to Properly Clean a Mirror

See this content in the original post

Hi everyone, Tim here from Chasing Pristine with another tip while home cleaning

1. Start by wiping down the surface of the mirror with a clean, lint-free cloth and warm water. If necessary, use a mild detergent or all-purpose cleaner.

2. To polish the mirror, use a mixture of vinegar and water. Make sure to use equal parts of both liquids and mix thoroughly in a bowl. Dip a clean cloth in the mixture and wring out any excess liquid. This will help prevent streaking on the mirror.

3. Rub the cloth in circular motions across the surface of the mirror until it is clean and free from dirt and dust.

4. Finally, use a dry cloth to buff the mirror so that it has a streak-free shine.

5. To ensure that your mirror stays clean and streak-free, be sure to dust it regularly with a soft cloth.

If you want to go the extra mile in cleaning your mirror, you can use a window cleaner specifically designed for glass surfaces. Spray the cleaner onto a soft cloth and allow the cleaner to sit on the surface for a few minutes before wiping away with a clean cloth. This will help remove stubborn dirt and streaks. Be sure to check the instructions on the window cleaner to make sure it is suitable for use on mirrors.

We hope this has helped
