What Options Are There To Organise Your Bookcase

See this content in the original post

Hi everyone, Tim here from Chasing Pristine with another tip while home cleaning

While you now are probably moving more and more towards eBooks, if you are anything like me you will still have a bookcase or two of the old classics that will live on through eternity.

So, here we go.

1. Alphabetically: Arrange books by author or title in alphabetical order.

2. By Colour: Group books of similar colours together on the shelves.

3. By Subject Matter: Sort books according to their content, such as a separate shelf for fiction and non-fiction.

4. By Size: Place the largest books on the bottom shelf and gradually build up to the smallest on the top shelf.

5. By Genre: Dedicate a shelf for each type of book, such as Romance, Mystery or Horror titles.

6. By Time Period: Keep books from the same period together, such as Classic Literature or Modern Fiction.

7. By Spines: Line up books according to cover colour or spine design.

8. By Arrangements: Create a pattern with the books, such as rainbow stripes or a checkerboard design.

9. By Date: Place books in order of when they were published or read.

10. By Frequently Accessed: Keep your most often read books in the front or in a more easily accessible area.

We hope this has helped
