How To Keep Bushfire Smoke Out Of Your Home

Hi everyone, Tim here from Chasing Pristine with another tip while home cleaning

1. Close all windows and doors: Ensure that all windows and doors are closed tight to keep the smoke out.

2. Use a wet towel to seal any cracks in the doors or windows: Place a wet towel at the bottom of the door or window to act as a seal to keep out as much smoke as possible.

3. Put a damp cloth over air vents: Covering the air vents with damp cloths can help filter out some of the smoke from entering your home.

4. Install a HEPA air filter: Using a HEPA filter is the most effective way to filter out bushfire smoke from your indoors air.

5. Stay inside as much as possible: Staying inside your home is essential during bushfires, as it will provide you with the safest environment from the smoke.

6. Turn off all fans: Turning off any fans or other air-circulating equipment can prevent smoke from entering your home.

7. You can if needed, purchase an air purifier to help filter out smoke particles from the air.

We hope this has helped
