Keeping Home Office Keyboards Clean

Hi everyone, Tim here from Chasing Pristine with another tip while home cleaning

To keep home office keyboards clean, it is important to regularly clean and disinfect them. Cleaning can be done using compressed air (if you have that available), or a soft, damp cloth. It is important to use a cloth that is non-abrasive and does not contain any chemicals that could damage the keyboard.

For disinfecting, an alcohol-based wipe or spray can be used. Be sure to avoid getting any liquid inside the keyboard. After cleaning and disinfecting, it is important to dry the keyboard completely before using it again. Additionally, avoid eating or drinking near the keyboard and keep it away from pets, as they can also introduce bacteria and dirt onto the keys.

It can also be helpful to use a keyboard cover. This will protect the keyboard from any dirt or spills. Regularly wiping the cover down with a damp cloth can help keep it clean and free of dust and other particles.

Remember to turn off your computer and disconnect the keyboard before cleaning it, as this will prevent any damage to the electronic components.
