How Can You Clean the Oven Without Using Specialist Oven Cleaning Products

Hi everyone, Tim here from Chasing Pristine with another tip while home cleaning

The best way to clean an oven using non over the counter products is to remove all oven racks and food debris from the oven. Then, make a paste using baking soda and water and spread it over the interior of the oven, including the sides, bottom, and door. Let it sit for several hours, or overnight if possible. After that, use a damp cloth to wipe down the area and rinse with water.

For tougher, baked-on stains, use a combination of vinegar and baking soda to create a thicker paste. Once the paste has been applied, let it sit for 30 minutes before scrubbing with a non-abrasive sponge or brush.

Finally, use a damp cloth to wipe away any remaining residue and dry the oven completely before replacing the racks.

You can also create a natural oven cleaner by combining lemon juice and salt. To use the cleaner, simply spread it over the oven surface and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, use a damp sponge to scrub off the mixture and rinse with water. This method is best for small stains or spots.

We hope this has helped
