How To Clean Your Reusable Water Bottle

Hi everyone, Tim here from Chasing Pristine with another tip while home cleaning 

1. Empty out any remaining water from your water bottle and set aside.

2. Fill the water bottle with warm water and a splash of liquid dish soap, or a few drops of white vinegar.

3. Secure the lid of the water bottle and shake vigorously to ensure all areas on the inside of the water bottle are exposed to the cleaning solution.

4. Let the cleaning solution sit in the water bottle for 10–15 minutes.

5. Drain the water bottle and rinse it out with warm water until all traces of soap or vinegar are gone.

6. If needed, use a soft-bristled brush or sponge to scrub away any stubborn stains on the inside of the water bottle.

7. Rinse again with warm water before air drying on a clean cloth or towel.

8. To further disinfect your water bottle, fill it with hot water (just under boiling) and let it sit for 5 minutes. This will kill any lingering bacteria or germs.

9. Empty the hot water and rinse out the water bottle with warm water before air drying on a clean cloth or towel.
