How To Clean Makeup Stains Off Furniture

Hi everyone, Tim here from Chasing Pristine with another tip while home cleaning

1. Blot up as much of the stain as possible with a cloth or paper towel. Try not to rub it in more than it already is.

2. Mix a small amount of dish soap with warm water and dip a fresh cloth into the solution. Gently rub the stained area with the cloth to loosen and remove the makeup.

3. Re-wet the cloth as needed with fresh soap and water and continue rubbing until the stain is gone.

4. Wipe away any soap residue with a damp cloth, then dry the area with a clean towel or let it air-dry completely.

5. If any stain remains, make a solution of one-part white vinegar and two parts water, and use a clean cloth to blot it onto the stained area. Allow the solution to sit for about 10 minutes before wiping it away with a damp cloth.

6. If the stain is still present after following this process, try an appropriate cleaning solution for the type of furniture you have. Test a small area first to make sure it won't damage the finish.

7. If the stain is on fabric-covered furniture, check the care instructions for the fabric and use a mild upholstery cleaner to remove the stain.

8. For more stubborn stains, consider using a steam cleaner to deep-clean the furniture.

We hope this has helped
