How To Clean The Interior of A Rubbish Bin

Hi everyone, Tim here from Chasing Pristine with another tip while home cleaning

1. Empty the bin of all rubbish and place it outside on a flat surface.

2. Wipe down the inside of the bin with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris.

3. Use a mixture of warm water and non-toxic dish soap to scrub the bin with a soft-bristled brush, paying attention to any stubborn or difficult areas.

4. Rinse the bin thoroughly with clean water.

5. Dry the interior of the bin with a clean cloth or paper towel.

6. Sprinkle some baking soda into the bin and leave it to sit for 15 minutes before brushing it out with a dry cloth. This will help to absorb any lingering odours.

7. Wipe down the interior of the bin once more with a clean, damp cloth to ensure there is no residual baking soda left behind.

8. Allow the bin to dry completely before replacing any liners and using it again.

9. To maintain the cleanliness of the bin, it is important to empty and clean it regularly. Depending on how often the bin is used, it should be cleaned every few weeks to ensure that any bacteria or germs are removed.

10. It is also important to replace the bin’s liners regularly to prevent any build-up of dirt and debris.

11. Additionally, you should add a few drops of white vinegar to the bin every now and then to help keep odours under control.

We hope this has helped
